The Tacca, also known as White Bat Flower or Bat Plant, is a fascinating plant that requires special care. Place it in a location with bright, indirect light, avoiding direct sunlight. Maintain room temperature between 18 and 24°C and ensure high humidity by regularly spraying the leaves or placing the plant on a tray filled with water. Watering should keep the soil lightly moist but not cause waterlogging. Use well-draining potting soil or our caudex substrate and fertilize every 2-4 weeks with a balanced liquid fertilizer or our succulent fertilizer during the growing season (spring and summer). Water and fertilize less during the resting period in autumn/winter. Pay special attention to the unique flowers, protect them from drafts, and avoid touching to prevent damage. Repot Tacca every two years in the spring using a well-draining pot. Monitor the plant for signs of stress or deficiency and adjust care accordingly.
