Frostresistant Cacti can be cultivated in a sunny, sheltered, well drained soil in Central and South Europe the whole year. The soil should be permeable and strongly mineral. Garden earth is improved with sand, pumice and lava. When the earth is covered with a roughly 5cm thick layer of coarse, mineral material, it will be easier to get the wild herbs out. Planting time is from March to August. Succulent Fertilizer is given from April too September.
