Features: |
Paraffin oil against sucking insects, especially San Jose scale insects and spider mites (red spider).
Plant compatibility : Promanal® is generally well tolerated by hard-leaved ornamental plants. In our experience, all cacti and most succulents, especially leafy succulents, do very well with Promanal. Blue frosted cacti such as Myrtillocactus and blue Melocactus and Pilosocereus should definitely not be sprayed with it as they will lose the waxy layer structure and thereby the blue color appearance. Echeveria and some Crassula are also sensitive to Promanal. Oleander, anthurium, ferns, Ficus longifolia and Aphelandra can be intolerant, which is why a test spraying is recommended for these species. In general, a test spraying on individual plants is recommended before treating larger stands of plants. Soft-leaved species should not be treated with Promanal® as they can be sensitive. Blossoms can be damaged by spraying with agents containing paraffin oil. Freshly potted plants or plants that have been severely damaged by drought or other environmental influences must not be sprayed with Promanal®. Paraffin oil preparations should generally not be used in direct sunlight. Treated plants should not be exposed to the blazing sun for a few days to avoid possible burns. Paraffin oil preparations must not be applied with agents containing copper or sulphur. Attention , the 500 ml bottle is marketed with the misleading label "explosion spray", but the content corresponds exactly to Promanal shield and woolly louse-free |
